Early Entry deadline extended to 31st May

The Solent IRC Owners Association in conjunction with Hamble River SC is pleased to announce this new event for the 2012 season.

The event is designed specifically for boats with an IRC rating below 0.960 and less than 35 feet in overall length complying with ISAF Offshore Special Regulations Category 4. Dayboats not complying with ISAF Offshore Special Regulations Category 4 will race in a separate class.

For some years we have received requests from owners of boats falling in and below Class 4 of our Solent Series, for more opportunity to race in conditions which match the particular needs of the small racing yacht.We have chosen a weekend of neap tides that does not clash with other Solent events. With 2 or 3 races on Saturday, 2 on Sunday, and courses designed to fit your needs, this will be a weekend of competitive racing and great socialising.

This will be the event for you!

Racing will be divided into classes. There will be a social event at Hamble River SC on Saturday evening and arrangements to moor in the river overnight.

Enter through SCRA for just £40 until 31st May, £50 thereafter.
